the school of accounting has set up two specialties----accountancy and financial management for undergraduates; the former was appraised as key specialty in university level in 2005, and the latter, as a new specialty, recruited students from 2003. in accordance with the requirements of cultivating high-quality and applying financial accounting talents, we have formulated a personnel training program featured with perfect system, rational structure and manifesting cognition rules.
focusing on teaching content and methods reform, the school has comprehensively strengthened the curriculum construction. at present, there are 4 quality courses in school level and 8 high-quality courses. starting from cultivating students’ innovation awareness and practice ability, we try to make new ground in practice teaching system. eight experimental courses, graduate internships, thesis, medium-term internships, academic year thesis, internship base, and the training center of finance and accounting, etc. have formed a complete system for experimental teaching.
the school of accounting takes system implementation and construction as the starting point to build a system guaranteeing and monitoring teaching quality in all rounds. the school has formulated a series of teaching management system, established a committee of teaching steering experts and a supervision group, and formed an integrated system guaranteeing and monitoring the teaching quality.
the school takes education reform and project establishment as precursors to deepen teaching and educational reform. over the past three years, the school has established 32 various teaching and research projects, published 68 teaching and research papers, printed 14 teaching materials, and received 13 teaching awards at all levels.
guided by cultivating high-quality talents and based on curriculum construction, the school will positively propel reform in teaching contents and methods, perfect the system of guaranteeing and monitoring teaching quality, and cultivate applying financial accounting talents with strong professional ability and overall quality to serve for the local economic construction.
